Lilypie Pregnancy tickers

About Our Baby

This week, our baby boy baby weighs 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space...and I'm definitely feeling it! I'm now 32 weeks and Counting!! Gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.(babycenter.com) It's hard to believe I'm getting so close. I'm a little worried with the delivery and just praying James will be home in time. I've started to see my doctor every 2 weeks and with one more 2 week visit left I'll go every week starting in April. It's been quite a challenge picking out the name. One thing we have tried to do is keep a "J" in his initials. I liked Jake for a middle name, and James liked Jay...so maybe Mason Jay~Trying to still keep our eyes open if we do see another name instead. I've been so sleepy too, but hoping to keep my energy up with soo much to do. I have to keep going, and trying to not be overwhelmed...and just keep praying!

Our Family

Since 28 Sept 09, James was reassigned to Korea for 1 year...this must have been the hardest news we could have gotten. It was a non-volunteer assignment, and before we knew it the time had come to say goodbye. We are on month 4 to the date today. We have gotten through our time apart by many phone calls, web cam conversations, and packages with lots of goodies sent! The kids and I have learned how to do so much! You don't realize how a daddy and hubby are the strength that holds your family together until they are gone. I was working part-time on base while the kids were in school, but since he has been gone, and expecting our baby I've been able to stay home and must say I love every minute of it! Many plans ahead with our baby due 29 April, James coming home for his mid-tour one week before the due date, hoping to sell our home in the summer, moving to mom's in June, and our family back together in September 2010! A life that is truly the best! The memories you make and laughs along the way are worth a little bit of craziness every now and then!

Logan 5 Years Old

Logan 5 Years Old
It's hard to believe Logan will be finishing Kindergarten this year! I have had the opportunity to help in his classroom with all the parties, and most fun of all the pj's and pancake breakfast! He does very well in school and has lots of friends! Although he loves to go to school, he loves to stay home too! He's just in Kindergarten, but you'll hear a big "Yes!" when you say school will be closed today, or your not feeling well enough to go to school~just the other day he asked me, "mom when I'm a parent can I live with you?" and of course I said Yes you always can~my little baby is growing up and will be a big brother soon~

Lexi is so sweet! She has such a big heart! She's loves her brothers and will do anything for them. She keeps up with them and Logan especially keeps up with her! If I ever need anything I can always count on her! We love having our girls days out and she's always carrying her purse with her lip gloss of every kind. She is very creative and loves art projects. She loves to write and I love when she reads to Logan it is such a special time that they have while they are still little.

Javi 10 Years Old

Javi 10 Years Old
Javi is in 5th grade and we are very proud of him! He is growing so fast! He does very well in school and loves the extra activities he can participate in. He was the only 4th grade boy last year to get voted into the student council for 5th grade...decorating a Christmas tree at a local hotel, helping with the toys for tots program at school, or recently collecting pennies for Haiti he puts his heart into the projects that are going on and loves to volunteer. He has truly been my big helper! I can always count on Javi!
